The theatre scene in Tübingen has many different ambitious and independent theatre companies, for adults as well as for children, from professionals as well as pupils and students.

 

High quality acting and individuality comprise the main artistic focus of Tübingen's "Zimmertheater", which has already achieved nationwide reputation through its productions.

 

The biggest theatre in town is the Landestheater Tübingen (LTT), which is also well-known beyond Baden-Württemberg.

 

Tübingen's "Vorstadttheater" not only offers Puppet Theatre, but also cabaret, music and readings.

 

The children's theatre Teo Tiger inspires its young audience with performances of fairy tales and clowns.

 

Tübingen's citizens not only watch performances, they contribute to the theatre scene by playing in a pupils', students' or amateurs' group and inviting others to play along.
