Museums

The university town of Tübingen attracts visitors with a multitude of museums for an excursion into history, arts and science.

 

The Kunsthalle offers ample exhibitions of the Classical Modern Era. Works of well-known artists attract visitors from all over the world. Historical and current life of Tübingen are shown in the City Museum. At the Hohentübingen castle the university provides a look into science through seven collections and numerous special exhibitions, which are complemented by various exhibitions from individual institutes; the exhibitions are partly open to the public. Last but not least do not miss the Hölderlin Tower, the Car and Toy Museum Boxenstop or the Cistercian Monastery of Bebenhausen.
